the reason all the politicos are chasing the yoof vote is because of the pathetically low voter turn-out in the 16-24 age bracket, not because of bad demographic maths. Older people will always vote because they have a vested interest in society, but young people need to be persuaded to vote. So whilst they need to attract older people to their PARTY, they need to appeal to the 'snot-noses' to get them to vote AT ALL.
